Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Festival

Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Festival

Fashion and rock fuse for a week long party.
Combining two of Nashville's favorite pastimes - checking out pretty people and blasting some rock 'n' roll - the Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Festival is back for its fourth annual Music City jaunt and this year, the planners are throwing a five-day bash just to be sure you get your fill. Check the official site at for more information.

Wednesday, May 13

The festival kicks off with the Standard Gold Party at Mai. Come dressed in your most shimmery metallics and enjoy gold tequila drink specials while mingling with the "solid gold" dancers, then make like a model and mix it up in the photobooth. Ironically, despite the theme, admission is completely free to the opening-night party.

Thursday, May 14

Hot Chelle Rae, N.O.B.O.T.S., Enjoy the Zoo, Defense Wins Championships and DJ Coach will provide the tunes at 12th & Porter while models walk the runway in designs from Jessie Fine, Iconic Rockwear, Legacy Ink, Urban Cosmopolitan, Jamie and the Jones and Van. Tickets are $5 at the door. Show starts at 8 p.m.

Friday, May 15

12th & Porter hosts again. Jensen Sportag, The Worsties, Sterling Y, The Minor Kings and DJ Coach bring the noise while amy b, Ladybird, Say Ooh, La La Lovely, Marti McFly and Beverly Hills Royalty bring the fashion. Tickets are $10 at the door. Show at 8 p.m.

Saturday, May 16

The party moves over to Mercy Lounge, where Lord T and Eloise will headline the show. They'll be joined by Born Empty, Used Computers, Speaker Spell and Future. On the design side, White Rabbit, Valentine Valentine, Shannon Lea, Rae Clothing, Anne Theisen Design, bub clothing, Only 50 and Becca Lou will parade around their fabulous designs. Tickets are $15 at the door and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Sun., May 17

It's the last day of the festival, so stop by The Basement for the wrap-up party with Gone City. While you're there, tip your hat to event planners Billings Gemmill, Patrick Weber, Bo Biddle and Robert Campbell of Black Flag Militia Group for a job well done.
